Since 2000, the Long Island Pine Barrens Society has hosted a monthly television program, covering environmental issues and news stories such as drinking water protection, transportation, energy, organic landscaping and agriculture, farmland preservation, citizen court cases and much more. Special guests appear each month with hosts Richard Amper, the Society's Executive Director, and Kathleen Nasta.             

Now Showing: Tune in to the Society’s award-winning television program during the month of September for the show, “The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation and Preserving Plum Island.” Guests, the Riverhead Foundation's Robert DiGiovanni, director and senior biologist, and Kim Durham, rescue program director, will tell us about their organization.
