From wetlands through lowland pines to dwarf pines, Quogue Wildlife Refuge has a little bit of everything you’ll find in the Pine Barrens. Rain cancels. From NY 27 Exit 63, go south on C.R. 31 to Montauk Hwy., then left to a left fork onto South Country Rd.; continue to the end of the road, turn left across the LIRR to the refuge. Park in open area across street from refuge.
