This hike is hosted by the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference.

4 miles | Easy | Varied

We will walk part of the Red Trail in Sarnoff Preserve to Cranberry Bog Preserve and back; bring water, snack and mask; meet at DEC parking lot on C.R. 63 (Lake Ave.); from downtown Riverhead traffic circle, go south on C.R. 63 to a left turn down an access road just south of Maynard Ave.; from NY 27 Exit 61, go north on C.R. 51, bear right onto C.R. 63, continue 1.3 miles to DEC parking area on your right; look for DEC brown sign; rain cancels.
