Guided Hike: Wertheim Wanderings No. 2 (LI Greenbelt)

Visit this beautiful National Wildlife Refuge in Shirley, walking the west side of the Carmans River to a great viewpoint and returning to the Visitor Center. Take William Floyd Parkway (Exit 68 off L.I.E. or Exit 58 off NY 27) south to Montauk Highway, west about 1 mile to Smith Road (light), then left onto Smith Road to park headquarters and entrance on right.
