3 miles | Easy | Flat

Check out the “Pine Barrens of the West.” See rare Oak Brush Plains systems on a walk in the Edgewood D.E.C. Preserve. Bring water. Rain cancels. Meet at Edgewood parking lot, east side of Commack Rd., south of L.I.E. Exit 52 and north of LIRR Main Line; entrance is opposite beginning of divided highway section.
